Justin's parents came into town tonight to see the boys, so we took them over to the hospital for a quick peek tonight. Little did we know that our nurse, Cathy, was going to orchestrate such a wonderful surprise for us with the boys! I just told Justin yesterday that I could hardly wait for the day that I would be able to hold both my boys at the same time...thinking it was still a little ways off. But, it happened tonight! Justin and I both got to hold our boys, and we got our first family pictures!! We even got pictures of us with Mammaw and Pappaw (Justin's parents) and we're planning on going back tomorrow night with Gigi and Grandpa (my parents)! What an amazing, wonderful, and precious surprise. I wanted to cry tonight because of what was happening, but I was just too happy and smiling too much to have any tears come!
(Just so you can tell them apart, Jack is the one I'm holding most of the time with the cannula on his nose. But that is coming off tomorrow, so we'll have to make sure we have another way of telling them apart ready to go!)
