We've made it to our 2nd trimester!!! I woke up this morning thinking "13 weeks"!!! I'm so excited!!!
I am so thankful to have made it this far with relatively few problems--I really am feeling that we're out of the danger zone and we couldn't be happier. My belly is starting to show now, enough that people are noticing it at school!

I got my email update from babycenter.com this morning, and am continually amazed at the process that is going on inside my body! Check out what is happening...
Fingerprints have formed on your baby's tiny fingertips, her veins and organs are clearly visible through her still-thin skin, and her body is starting to catch up with her head — which makes up just a third of her body size now. Your baby is almost 3 inches long (the size of a medium shrimp) and weighs nearly an ounce. As you start your second trimester, most of your baby's critical development will be completed and your odds of miscarriage drop considerably. 
AMAZING!! Isn't it??

Just a little about who I am and how I found your blog: I am married to Jeremy Marchbank. Jeremy went to school with Joy. I read Joy's blog too. And one day she made reference to her brother's blog and he made reference to your blog. So that's how I found your blog.
