Leaving on a jet plane...

And I really can't wait to got home again!!!

So I'm feeling okay this morning- a little bit more pain than yesterday. But I guess that is to be expected one your discharged from the hospital and all their regularly scheduled happy pills! I made it through the night, and Justin helped me take a much needed shower. Now my wonderful nubby is just about to help me dry my hair so we can catch the shuttle to the airport. Can't wait to be back in my own bed, but I am SO glad we did this! Even though, in the wrong positions, I have quite a bit of pain, it is so much less than I anticipated!

Will update you more, and post our pictures, when we get home. Thanks so much for all the prayers, thoughts, and love you have sent our way... Love you all! Now I am off- ready to go home!

A-OK

Alyson had a very good surgery! She was in sugery for about an hour. Dr. Haney took me aside and explained everything to me. Alyson had spinal block so she was awake during the surgery asking the doctor where they were at during certain times of the surgery. We are currently waiting for a room for Alyson where we will stay tonight. The hospital staff is absolutely wonderful here!! They are very friendly and sincerely care about you. We also met a wonderful couple who also came in to town to have the same surgery. It is amazing to compare stories and experiences! We are both so excited knowing that we have just took another step toward being parents. Thank you all for praying! Alyson says she will write more later!l

Ready, Set...

Go! I am sitting in pre-op right now, waiting for the doctor to come! I had Justin take a picture of me in my adorable gown, but i can't get his iPhone to load the picture. I am excited! Justin will update everyone once I am out of surgery. :)
