Remembering...

October 15 is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.  Today is a day to remember all babies we have carried but never met, those born sleeping, or those we have held but could not take home. I will never forget.  I'll never forget my sweet Jonathan Paul.  I'll never forget the 4 babies I lost to miscarriage before I had a chance to get to know them.  ♥

Tonight, families who have lost babies will be creating a 'wave of light'.  We will be lighting candles at 7 pm in memory of our babies.  My blog friend Kelly does such a special thing each year.  She takes  pictures of candles for each of our angels.  Thank you Kelly for remembering my sweet boy!

We will never forget you Jonathan.  Thank you for sending us your brothers.  You will always hold such a special place in our hearts.  We love you!

I'm praying for all of the moms I know that have babies in Heaven with my children...we will never forget our babies!!

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Today is my dad's birthday, and the boys threw him a special surprise birthday party yesterday in the NICU!!  Aren't they sweet?? =)

They are looking so grown up!!

The boys are doing a great job growing! Yesterday Will was 5 lbs 7 oz, and Jack was 4 lbs 14 oz!!  We just can't believe how well they are doing!  They are both breast and bottle feeding, and are well on their way to doing that for all their feeds! We probably have about 2-3 more weeks, and then they might be coming home!!!  SO EXCITING!!  They were 6 weeks yesterday, and today they are 35 weeks according to my pregnancy!  They are such precious, sweet boys, and I just can't get enough of them!  I think I kiss them each about 100 times a day!!

1st Bottles!

I'm sorry for the long break between blogs...I've been at the hospital a lot, and resting the rest of the time!! I know you understand, and I'll do my best to get a bunch more pictures up on here soon!  But for now, I just had to do a quick post of the boys' very first bottle feed!!  They've been doing a great job nursing for about a week, but tonight was their first attempt at bottles...and they did a great job!!

Will took about half his bottle and Jack took about a quarter of his! We are so proud of them and how well they are doing!!  Will also made it to 5 pounds at his weigh in tonight...our chunky monkey!!  Jack is 4 lbs 8 oz, so he'll be to 5 pounds before we know it!!
